The beautiful fishing port of Lynmouth, with its harbour and beach is overlooked by the equally beautiful town of Lynton at the top of the cliffs, with its amazing views out to sea and over Exmoor. The two towns are adjoined by a Victorian cliff railway. Also, a visit to the stunning Valley of the Rocks is a must see whilst in the area.
You will be spoilt for choice for local places to eat and drink in Lynmouth or Lynton. You are certain to get a warm reception from the staff at The Rising Sun in Lynmouth, which is a 14th Century Public House, which also serves delicious locally sourced food. Or if you decided to venture into Lynton, how about trying a steak at The Nook or some Tapas at The Oak Room?
However, if you don't fancy the short trip into either of the towns, Ye Olde Cottage Inne is on our doorstep, which brews its own ales and also houses the much acclaimed Nartnapa Thai Restaurant. We would highly recommend you make a visit.
